Students came to the hands-on workshop to learn how to make Chinese dumplings!

March 8th in Bryant University's Hall 15 lobby the Global China Connection club hosted a Chinese Cultural event! We had students of all levels and backgrounds learn about Chinese traditions and culture!

We had a great time at the annual Chinese Singing Competition. Everyone enjoyed the food, music and competition. Third place went to the 305A class, Second place went to the 401A and First place to the 105B class. Thanks for all who participated!! Can't wait for next year :)!

Chinese Singing Contest on November 4th 2015

The Chinese Program and Global China Connection had another successful singing contest this year from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on November 4th. Each Chinese class performed a Chinese song as a group and eight groups performed during the contest. Over 100 people came to this event and all of them enjoyed the beautiful songs, delicious Chinese food and snacks. 

Dumpling Workshop Wednesday October 7th, 2015

Our Dumpling Workshop went very well. It was great to see Global China Connection members really come together for the first time this semester alongside some new faces. We made some 好吃 dumplings and got to play with a few Chinese toys and knickknacks. A big thank you to the 老师s for demonstrating how to fold the dumplings correctly and for cooking up the dumplings. We hope to have a similar turnout at our Calligraphy Workshop in M41 at 4pm on October 19th.
